Emmett grew up on the southside of Chicago at the Pullman Company Town where his father worked producing sleeping cars for the railroad industry. The company not only produced the cars, they also operated the cars for various railroads. This gave Emmett the perfect opportunity to work and see the country at the same time.  He met and saw all types of people as he crisscrossed the country.

At the height of the great depression, he fell on hard times like everyone else and was let go from the railroad. Trying to earn a living he worked a variety of odd jobs to support himself. One of the odd jobs was as a fill in clown at carnivals and a laborer for the circus. One day he got his big break when the Circus Clown failed to show up for the show giving Emmett the chance to bring his Hobo Clown Character to life. The Emmett Hobo Clown character was a sad-sack person, who would shuffle along as an unkempt, downtrodden hobo offering a complete contrast to the madcap cavorting of brightly colored, white-faced conventional clowns. This character wasn't an act it was the secret life of a serial killer. Emmett was responsible for the clown not showing up that fateful evening and for countless atrocities across the United States as he victimized vagabond hobos, unsuspecting travelers, circus performers and the unsuspecting circus crowds. Don the mask and become the evil hobo clown, Emmett.

Sculpted by Aaron Lewis.
